Frequently asked questions
As part of the registration process we ask that you inform us if your child has any allergies or medical concerns. Our nurse will make sure all Epi Pens, medication..etc are properly cared for. While we are not a peanut free facility, we do have a separate lunch section in the back of our cafeteria for allergy needs.
We do not have a pool so there the campers do not go swimming. However we do have water activities, including inflatable water slides...etc. Campers come dressed in their bathing suits and all water activities are done in the afternoon. Campers do not get changed at camp. At the end of the activities, the campers towel dry and get ready for pick up.
Not a problem. You can easily communicate with your child's counselor through the iCare app to inform them of your pickup time. Alternatively, you can call the camp at
718-984-5750 to let us know. We do kindly request that all pickups be completed before 2 PM, as our afternoon transitions are quite busy while we wrap up the day's activities and prepare for dismissal. Thank you for your understanding!
Yes we do. Extended hours are billed at $15 per hour used and it is automatically calculated in our iCare Child Care App. Early drop off is from 7:30-8:50 am and extended care is from 3:30-5:00 pm.
No advance notice is necessary, you can just drop off campers early or leave them at camp for extended care.
All campers are grouped with the grade they will be entering in the fall and classes are not co-ed. Grades are not mixed from Kindergarten through 5th grade. We do mix grades in grade 6th through 8th. For example in each grade we will have two groups:
A 2nd Grade Girls class and a 2nd Grade Boys class.
6th -8th Grade Girls Class and 6th to 8th Grade Boys Class
In the event that we need to create more than one class in an age group, we will reach out to ensure that friends are in the same class.
