Halloween is always big day at the Dolphin Camp!
Since 2011, OLSS Dolphin Camp has been a vital part of the Staten Island community, offering a safe and enriching summer camp experience. Our camp is dedicated to nurturing creativity, building confidence, and fostering friendships among campers through a variety of fun activities and events.
The camp was originally established to meet the needs of our parish families, providing parents with a secure environment for their children while they worked. It gives kids a place to grow, play, make friends, and have a blast all summer long. It has now expanded to meet the needs of Staten Islanders from across the island!
Linda "Ms. Linda" Fusillo was the camp's first director in 2011 and set the tone for what Dolphin Camp would become. After a two-year break due to COVID-19 protocols in 2020 and 2021, the camp made its comeback in the summer of 2022 under the leadership of Ben Arcuri and Mia Marinaccio, with Ms. Linda providing valuable guidance. Since then, we have experienced tremendous growth, with a booming enrollment as word spreads about our camp. Ensuring that kids have fun in a safe environment remains our top priority, and it's a commitment we continue to uphold today.

All of our exciting camp activities take place on the campus of Our Lady Star of the Sea School. We prioritize the safety and enjoyment of our campers by keeping all events on site, eliminating the need for off-site trips. To enhance our weekly themes, we bring in a variety of entertainment for our campers, including game shows, the circus, illusionists, and even a visit from Santa! Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that every camper has an unforgettable experience throughout the summer. ​
Exciting Summer Fun
Our camp offers a diverse range of activities daily, including Arts and Crafts, Theater, Game Room, STEM, Computers, Movie Room (great for those hot days), outdoor play such as
Ga Ga pit (a camp favorite), pickleball and badminton, whiffle ball, kickball, spike ball, obstacle courses, and more. We can't forget about the water days and dance parties, and nothing beats
a good team scavenger hunt!
Each week brings a new camp theme, keeping the experience fresh and engaging. You can be in the Olympics one week and the Circus the next. There is something for everyone at the Dolphin Camp!
